Los Angeles, California, USA, July 23, 2020 –— OWNZONES Entertainment Technologies, the leading cloud-based video supply chain company, has announced today its appointment as the newest member of the Trusted Partner Network (TPN).
The TPN is a new, global and industry wide film and television content protection initiative. The TPN program helps companies prevent leaks, breaches and hacks of their customers’ movies and television shows prior to their intended release and seeks to raise security awareness, preparedness and capabilities within the media and entertainment industry. A joint venture between two major entertainment industry associations, the Motion Picture Association (MPA) and the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), the TPN establishes a single benchmark of minimum-security preparedness for all vendors and their teams, wherever they work, and whatever their specialty.
OWNZONES’ cloud-based platform optimizes the digital supply chain for studios and content owners, and despite the challenges throughout lockdown, OWNZONES has supported them in allowing content projects to continue remotely to reach consumers around the globe. They wanted to reassure clients that content, despite not being on premises, was still safe in their hands. As security is a core business value for OWNZONES, they set out to receive their assessment by the TPN earlier this year. Individual assessors then underwent a strict review and approval process of OWNZONES’ ability and expertise in securing pre-released entertainment content, and security preparedness for conformance with the MPA content security best practices.
